Companionway Slide and Storm Hood Replacement - Pacific Seacraft

Extensively rotted plywood - grooved teak pools water and penetrates the finish

Failed miters - teak runners salvaged but cambered pieces were relaminated

Completed jigs - 3 okume plywood laminates

Teak milled to 3/16" and edge-glued with masking tape

Vacuum bagging teak laminates to already bent plywood

Joe mans the valve - Peter uses his sani-hose stethoscope to find leaks

Fairing with machine - followed by 36" longboard

Two coats sealer one coat Cetol - slide out for painting

Miters and bungs
Messed up on the book matching - but the grain blends well
