Cockpit Rebuild & Replanking - 1954 35' Sparkman & Stephens "Corlaer"

Rotten cockpit structure - to be entirely replaced

Demolition of oak beams - route out rotten bulkhead sections

Removal complete - new fuel tank mounts

Bilge cleaning - new engine to be installed

Heaping pile of rotten wood and discontinued hardware

Manhole let into Okume - bulkhead doublers epoxied - continuing engine plumbing

Spacing the teak
Completed cockpit foot well - raw teak sole w/ varnished Sipo sides

Convenient engine access and fancy woodwork

Leaky planking from mast compression - replaced plank - bronze refastening

Several sawn frame sisters - cotton and bunging detail
